Young Man Poem by Abdul Wahab

Young Man

Rating: 5.0

We are born
Then quickly become child
Sweetie, lovely and cute
Hand to hand
Lap to lap
Laughing, playing and crying
In joy, sorrow and in fear
That too passed with a sweep
And without hurdle crossed into an age teen
Running, jumping and hoping a lot
Sometimes delighted
Sometimes in pain
Heart broken when scolded or harsh words are spoken
Days after days are passed
Merriment banter and fun
Those days fast and furious gone
Grown up young like a just bloomed flower of the morning
Taking sap, light and air
Beautiful is life and suck the lees from the brim
Drench, drink and swim in the drops of dew
Then the day comes
We wake up and things are found changed
Though nothing has been gone wrong
Yet we wonder and see
We become a full -bloomed young man.
