Young Negro Girl.(Translation) . Poem by Michael Walker

Young Negro Girl.(Translation) .

Rating: 5.0

Brulent blanches d'etoiles.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Hughes addresses a beautiful young negro girl, praising her beauty by comparing her to the twilight in June when the red roses bloom, and to the hot nights of summer, which' burn white with stars'.
Hughes sketches in the portrait of the young negro girl, and gives the nod to youth and beauty. Very successful, I find.
