Your Cheeks Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Your Cheeks

I could not start a word
I wanted to put forward
A simple letter
With lovely offer

I thought of making love bid
And lead
Simple but peaceful
Calm but successful

The life had presented
Beautiful side and prompted
To see your hand
"Will you be my friend"?

You were really exceptional
Beautiful and original
With no outer show
Or artificial glow

Your cheeks were crimson red
I tried to decode feelings and read
You allowed me vast kingdom
To venture and come out seldom

I was getting lost
With personal loss
To a beautiful entity
That was my real destiny
