Your intellectual pride,
your self sufficiency
your selfishness
will inhibit His
coming into your heart.

When you depend
upon your powers,
you will be easily discouraged.

Depend on God, when you
try to do good things.

Then you will
never be discouraged,
becasue your strength
comes from your God.

God loves your humility
and dependence on Him.

hi, tony! i'm glad to be the first to comment on this. yes, ultimately we trust God or ourselves or a stand-in we have elevated to the place of God. still there may be disappointments (i just read psalm 77 a little while ago) , but better to hold on to the One who is eternal who loves us through all. -glen
