Your Love Quiets The Famine Within Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Your Love Quiets The Famine Within

Your love quiets the famine within,
a balm for the soul's ache,
a nectar more potent than sunlight.
I am sated by the silken threads
of your whispered presence,
woven into the fabric of my being.

The hollow places in me
are filled with the elixir of your gaze,
each glance a fragment of eternity.
You are the quiet murmur of galaxies,
the hymn of unspoken stars,
a river that moves without sound,
carving depths unseen.

I drink of you,
a chalice overflowing with wonder.
You are not the flame but the ember,
steady and ancient,
a glow that hums beneath my skin,
sheltering me from the winter of doubt.

With you, I am no longer a wanderer-
I am a tree, rooted in a forest of belonging,
the hunger of my heart
stilled by the feast of your love.
