Your Presence Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Your Presence

So tall and lean,
A curious spark.
Glittering eyes,
Sparking smile.
Curious to know,
Ready to aid.
Holding that cup or
Eating some grapes.
Striding with purpose
Or chattering insistence.
Always kind words to
Everyone you know.
Oh, that sparkle!
Oh, that smile!
And all the while
Your presence
I'm missing.
Are you even
Listening?
