Your Very Breath Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Your Very Breath

Your very breath, I breathed,
When we were one.
The undulating motion,
Under the sun.

Your very breath was beautiful.
I wondered where it came from.
I saw it and felt it.
It was unbelievable.

Your very breath, I breathed,
Caused us to be one.
I will never breathe again,
As beautiful as this one.
