Your Voice Has Grown Silent Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Your Voice Has Grown Silent

This night being filled with desires and love that will
never be felt again in this life, wondering how life
can go on without you here by my side.

There are no more whispers for your voice has grown
silent and cannot be reached by this heart tonight,
or any night in this temporary earthly life.

Misty-eyed, wanting you back, but the melodies have
stopped playing, we are no longer together, life used
to be so easy, simple, but not any more my dear.
