Your Voice Is Pleasant Poem by Naveed Akram

Your Voice Is Pleasant

The difference in your words is pleasant before the one who loves you,
I guard my body from mighty blows, I stagger and fall dutifully with agony.
The wisdom of the believers only lasts so long, but forever the faith continues,
Words after words fall to the ground to entice the traveller into knowing more.

Over the mild calm of this beloved January, my voice slightly cellos, many falsities
Blink into union, as truth belittles, as speed of light quickens but never at all.
My mind proposes a plan, deaf is my habit, death is my solute, and life is my solvent;
For the wine of justice ignites the belly without you, and without me there is nothing.

The similar men are of noises native to the geographic position, sweet melons obscure
The sight of women who smoothly tell and say, like those virgins of avenues revolving.
The ineffable words of youth stay nefariously tonight, forming images of lust and anger,
Like villains of the variables that exist, inner youth is a blessed good, inner health is sacred.
