Yukon Ice Poem by John McCornack

Yukon Ice

It has been the ice storm of century
No power,  light, or heat for 3 days
There was much hardship and grief
But also very beautiful in many ways

But could we live without Wal-Mart
Or a warm cup of coffee at the cafe
Missing lights are starting to return
And return to normal is underway
