Zero Consciousness 2 Poem by DM W

Zero Consciousness 2

Rating: 5.0

If it wasn't for these myriad distractions,
There would be nothing going on at all inside
These hollow, malleable brains. They merely zap
From screen to screen with about as much conscious thought
As Pavlov's dogs! It's such a sad state of affairs.
But in the future, I fear things will get much worse.

'Hollow, malleable brains' and 'Pavlov's dogs.' Nicely written Dominic and made me smile or was it grimace for the long term conditioning and unaware self awareness of others. A nice, cold satire Dominic and you have to wonder do certain individuals in life start salivating upon seeing the McDonalds logo let alone the menu. A full score and I wish you well and just take the batteries out of their remote.
