Rage Allay Poems

Who would have thought that I deserved a bit of heaven?
The angels must be smiling at what had just happened.
My heart is thrilled at the thought of your existence;
The butterflies in my stomach are fluttering without pretense.

You are like a fleeting echo that rings through my soul.
You are like the clouds, so visible
Yet impossible to hold and own.
You are like the air that I cannot live without.

You and I have long been friends
We hoped to stay that way until the end.
Our jobs may have kept us apart
But our bond had refused to depart.

Between you and me
At first, I trusted you

How do I begin my silent lamentation?
I lack the courage to bring this to your attention.
I tried to write you a poem
One with the perfect words to rhyme,

No wounds, cuts, nor scrapes
Yet, pain rings through my whole
Grab the hand of a broken soul.

The sites are not crowded at all.

Surely I Am Falling

Who would have thought that I deserved a bit of heaven?
The angels must be smiling at what had just happened.
My heart is thrilled at the thought of your existence;
The butterflies in my stomach are fluttering without pretense.
I'm doing things out of the ordinary,
My feelings are quite in quandary.
You seem to hold a key to a treasure in my life,
For, things are unlocking these past few days and nights.
Whatever it is that binds us together,
I surely feel so much better.
So here's one tiny bit of advice,
Please hang in there for the rest of my life.
