S.N. Surajbhan Poems

Oh! The Immortal lives
Very evident your journey
Like from a seed into a tree,
You ring the bell of justice and
...

I was back home with my hand bag
Hitting my knees, and my pet dog just
Barking at someone;
I guess it was me.
...

When my eyes were in distress,
When I was struggling with times of failure
Nature showered ray of light on me.
Standing alone on the snow covered floor
...

The wrinkles have arrived on his face and
He wears a thick glass spectacle,
Which just slips down to the tip of his nose and
The eyes just couldn't stop from blinking.

The Immortal Lives

Oh! The Immortal lives
Very evident your journey
Like from a seed into a tree,
You ring the bell of justice and
Infringe the chain of slaves.
Many battles, many ruins and many bloodshed
You acquired our nation with your
Indomitable perseverance,
As if you smashed off all demons to prevail sanctity…………! !

Oh! The immortal lives
You have injected the spirit of nationality in us
The setting sun, the sun rays at grass field
All grounded with your sublime touch
And subtle thought,
You reigned in tranquility, shaped the nation
In your lenient fingers……….! !

Oh! The immortal lives
You are remembered and revered always
In our heart; for everything
You have left for us,
Now, you pave the path;
Where peace leads the victory
And violence can never ………….! !
