If I ever had it-
My endless small confessions of feeling
Are my only poems now-

I look in the mirror
And what do I see?
A far worse version
Of what was once me
...

I AM OLD/ BUT I STILL WALK ALRIGHT

I am old
But I still walk alright
...

The aches and pains are temporarily gone
Life is good again
Crankiness irritability
Are no longer necessary
...

I once loved the books so much
Seeing them made me glad
Now they sadden me
I do not read them anymore
...

A poem cannot diminish the Loneliness
The Loneliness is greater than any poem-

The Loneliness is great

I LISTEN TO THE LINE I WAIT TO WRITE

I listen to the line I wait to write
I hear myself speaking the poem to myself.
