Sreelakshmi Revikumar Poems

It forms shapes and puzzles
Which still create a wonder.
Horses and dragons they create,
Puffed up like snow.
...

In the womb in you,
I budded and flowered.
The kicks of my legs
Made you awake.
...

My mother did a wonder
When I was only eight.
Out came you as a thunder
To surprise me with your trait.
...

You are so far, my dear
With ocean between us today.
To be near and close to you,
I meditate a thousand years.
...

I search upon a dreamy Haze
For answers to the life of maze.
Some were found, others remain,
The ones who lacked a domain.
...

Unanswered, remains the riddle
As men are ridden with mock ambition.
Veiled still, is the life so vast
As music comes from the magic fiddle.
...

Stays the flower to wither
Upon a rocky stone,
Awaits in hot sun hither
Skinny to the bone.
...

Pierced the Rays of mighty sun-
To wake her up from slumber.
With head weighing like a ton,
She awaited for the thunder.

Mystery Clouds

It forms shapes and puzzles
Which still create a wonder.
Horses and dragons they create,
Puffed up like snow.

On days, goes they missing,
Filling the sky with blue;
It extends till the horizon,
With nothing yet to dream.

By then, the clouds are back-
Getting more playful.
They cover the sun at times,
Sudden shower otherwise.

Where do they go, these forms,
So mysteriously made?
Maybe to the nearby village,
Having tales to say.
