Prickling as it is the rose is precious
No man can hold it high as it is fragile
Belief spreads around with customs
For the rose to bloom in perfection

A mongrel dilapidated by the myths of Chilinda
Strolls in the heavily infested fields of muringa
With a troubling muzzle on his face
Dodges from one end to another in search of peace

Probably the last poem I will be writing
Because something has hooked up my feelings
To a climax I thought would never reach

The Mouse And The Rat

The mouse is very popular Everyone loves him He is friends with the rat, But not for long so

Betrayal shall show its way Through the veins of the rat, Peeping inside the mouse`s hut where nuts are kept.

He makes it a fuss Being chased away from the hut, Not because of hatred from the mouse But because of his dishonest

He seeks refuge in an abyss. Where he finds friends, Friends which whom also now hate the mouse.

They form a gang. A gang to attack the mouse, The mouse is removed from his special home, Not only by the gang but also a march of everyone.

The mouse is left alone, With his family they leave for good never to return. The rat is left with everything, The house in particular.
