Once believing themselves to be better than others.

Difficult it is.
To retract and take back.
What one has said to another.
With druthers thoughtlessly uttered.

More will discover love and its power.
After they have surrounded themselves,
With a hatred to face it.
Unmistaking where it came from.
...

It is not a weakness to express,
Heartfelt emotion to expose its depth.
In tears shown to drip from eyes.
Or in confessions made to get off their chests.
