Drowning With His Cries - Poem by Samantha Desmond

The girl walks past,
without a glance,
going about her business,
never to help,
the dying boy.

Boats float past,
but they do not stop,
are they blind?
they cannot get involved,
with the dying boy.

Hes splashing, crying,
screaming out for help,
as everyone passes,
never to help,
this dying boy.
