In Hell Poem by Eric Gallagher

Turn and see
The room is empty
The dogs are howling
The night is young
And so are you
But your soul is worn
Your brain diseased
You heart empty
And body weak
But the show must go on
Force a smile for them all
Maybe no one can tell
That you and your soul are in absolute Hell.

Interesting, could be a very powerful poem. Of a person trapped in their own life. I think sometimes we all feel trapped in our lives. But this person is not only trapped but also forced too maybe. A person thats had to endure too much maybe. Thats what I get anyway, maybe I'm wrong. Very good though. Please feel free to read and comment on my poems too. Thank you
