Show Them

Have you ever cried silently?
I mean you feel the pain
And the hurt
And the wounds
And the sadness
But no tears come to your eyes

Your heart and mind are empty
They are just empty
Full of emotions
Mixed emotions
But still empty
Completely empty
You don’t know what to do
You feel like crying
But you can’t cry
You feel like kicking
But you don’t know who
Or what to kick
You feel like screaming
But who cares?
Even if you choke with your scream? !
Nobody notices
Or gives any attention
To your silent cry

Shouldn’t this be the time?
That you say to yourself
I will show them
And I will show them
I will definitely show them
I will not take revenge on them
And I will not hate them
I will not ignore them
When they are in trouble
I will just forgive them
Even though it is hard
I will smile at them
Even though I have every right
To smirk at them

But I will show them
And I will still show them
I will definately show them
How successful I become
I just hope the time is not far
And I pray that God will always guide me.

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
