It begins to fade but it grows
Why must it be so big?
It couldn’t have just faded away

My paradigm thrives in fire
Scanning for obstacles and nothing less
Bombastic senses, I care for you not
I am destroyed from the inside out

Beneath my feet is the crashing
Sounds and clashing of bullets
They wet my feet and the feeling
Is rather uncomfortable

Black operations and underground tracks
Lead me to the depths of mountains
Where underneath I will search
For the rubies and diamonds that surly will be mine

Very frustrating, to forgive you
Down are the bridges, but broken
They can’t be fixed or move on out
I once built a man out of snow
...

Leaning towards unthinkable emotions
Try posting this on a graph
For you there is some solitude
But there seems to be no peace
...

With cunning ingenuity surpass them
Leave it blank on the sheet
Born into apartheid
With the glory of grey impounded in your skin
...

Things try to stay in line
All else fails to cure this pine
And these are the words that tear me apart
So I can’t wake up another day
...

I look up at the glowing box before me
Shedding my independence with glee
I look to you and I say I want to be like that
You want to be like me

Oh God, you know all too well I love you
I need to find the time; I need to refine my pride
Our feet are shaking, our tongues are tied
