Christan Bowen Poems

Without worlds colliding
I see a bright sunshine coming through the grey clouds
Will I be about it
I stood enough
...

Hang from the oak tree
Sway like the wind is a God
I hear a whistle
...

I wish I could speak
And hear your response
The land of Ponce
Was just barren once
...

A dry day
a little wind
God
Give me the ghost again
...

As I dreamed of smokey mornings
And leaves of brown falling so quietly
I dreamed of grass so high
That it might swallow the passerby
...

Grandmother, deep in years
And shed of fears
Did appear
on the lawn
...

The snow that covers the pond is breaking
Breaking from a boulder
That rolled down a snow-covered mountain
...

A monster opened her eyes
She went with boots up to her eyes
To my surprise, I was alive
and could feel her thighs
...

9.

Savor the flavor
Red and green Lifesavers
Butter rum and bubble gum
I got to get me some
...

What I wake up to is a clear reminder that winter does come
The frost on the window begins to melt from the morning sun
As I casually dress and think the world a success
I sip my morning tea and believe that the yard is a sea
...

I was taken to a place
Where try to make you face
Reality
...

A lonely scholar
Who's straight from the holler
Went to the city
And made a few dollars
...

13.

I'm not gonna follow you
Into a hole
There are certain things I already know
If I catch you
...

Your like walking on broken glass
I don't know what I'll do
After that
This connection
...

You got to be still
To understand
That will and intent
Will pay the rent
...

Snakes and spiders
Are pretty little liars
They live in the briars
And the holes
...

Could you make a cup with your hands
And bring me water
I need to know
I need to see the truth
...

The Best Poem Of Christan Bowen

A Spring Day

Without worlds colliding
I see a bright sunshine coming through the grey clouds
Will I be about it
I stood enough
and had to shout it
the moonbeams sway
Tomorrow is a new day
But I hear the crying of millions of children
How did we grow a world where we kill them?
