Corvette Nezumi Mikazuki Poems

Sometimes I look into the sky,
Why?
What is up there?
...

I enter a vast white room
All I hear are voices cluttering my head
'say my name…'
I hear over and over
...

All alone in the dark
"can you hear me? "
All I see is those who are damned
"you can see me? "
...

I walk
Blocking out the word with the sound of others screaming
I wish
Locking everything deep inside without a speck of light
...

A huge Victorian castle
Dancing, dancing, dancing…
Beautiful dresses sparking under the glissading chandeliers
...

A boy at the end of a hall
Such a devilish grin breaking through his lips
His eyes widen
You can see his lust for death
...

I want to set my world on fire.
Nothing is worth anything anymore.
All value that was once there is gone,
Not even the trees will produce oxygen
...

Alone in my room
Darkness fills the emptiness
I keep to myself,
I write
...

I’ve been thinking about you
All the times we shared
All the grief we feared
Holidays spent together
...

10.

I stand firm in an open field
A group of friends:
Friends which are fake
Friends which are real,
...

A heart full of darkness
“is this truly mine? ”
I can’t help but wonder what this dark aura engulfing me is
“is this truly me? ”
...

I Write A Letter
Only your name is mentioned
I hear your voice drift away
“are you becoming a memory now? ”
...

A girl lies alone
Her eyes broken in tears
Her mascara streams down her face,
Like a black waterfall flowing
...

Have You Ever Wondered If You Could Fly?
Maybe in another world or realm,
Or maybe… It’s all just in my head…
...

I hear the symphony down the hall
But, no music?
The aristocrats are scared
Their souls lost into oblivion,
...

This life I live,
What is it to you?

Am I even a human to you?
Or am I just a toy for you to tinker with?
...

A dream of flying and soaring,
To have his feat lifted upon clouds in the distant sky
What’s that?
Impossible you say?
...

18.

Every morning I wake up knowing something is missing,

I live my days in different ways now,
I'm not alive, I'm just breathing...
...

The more I love, the less I feel
The more I feel, the meaning drifts away
This sleep which I dream of is peaceful,
Yet the sleep I endure is of most chaos
...

Corvette Nezumi Mikazuki Biography

I wouldn't consider myself to be a poet, or for any of these creations I have made to necessarily be called 'poems'. Though you may call them what you wish, I consider them as miniature stories. I've always been writing since I was rather little, maybe 6 years-of-age. My only teacher has told me that I should become a writer.)

What Is Up There?

Sometimes I look into the sky,
Why?
What is up there?

I spin around,
Lying in the damped green grass,
Looking into the sky,
Pondering,
What is up there?

I clench my fist,
Slamming it into the untouched grass,
Looking into the sky,
Curiosity killing me inside!
What, is, up there? !

Accompanied by my true & faithful friend,
Standing behind me in the grass,
Looking into the sky,
“What is up there? ”
I ask him,
He replies;
“Nothing that cares about either of us.”
