The truth that was never a truth;
The lie that was never a lie,
The corrupt mind
That bends human conscience and judgment.
...
Wailing with tears and
Helplessly in commotion,
All of you’re telling to write
The history of hatred, enmity, killings,
...
On my seventh birthday,
We saw the comet stretching over the sky.
My mother asked me to wish.
I wished for candy.
...
Ma!
I’m scared of your terrible world.
The cowering and
The shock you receive
...
Oh! Stranger,
You enthralled me to illusion,
And mesmerized under your spell
Of ecstasy and intoxication.
...
The Corrupt Mind
The truth that was never a truth;
The lie that was never a lie,
The corrupt mind
That bends human conscience and judgment.
Idealism, a bigger world of little hope and
Honesty –an archaic word of little relevance.
The corrupt mind eclipses all and
Played on emotion to suppress for bondage.
The words of the learned,
Full of knowledge and wisdom,
Silenced by the corrupt mind,
Timidly cocooned, and died with him forever.
The lip-service of the corrupt mind and
The audacious promise, never intent to fulfill,
Blinded by hunger for power and greed, and
Forget the humanity where he belongs.
The corrupt mind’s razor-sharp venomous words,
That poisoned to pervert on
Religion, caste, creed and colour, and
Wrecked the bond of communal harmony and peace.
Do the corrupt mind ever try to understand life,
Who argues God’s existence?
But consciously prey for forgiveness and mercy:
Ultimately, the truth to self only leads to Him.
