Robert Alyea Poems

Ripened tears flee from eyes,
Flattened the fears that you despise?
Don't let the fear inflate or rise,
Yelling spirits, helpless cries.
...

Bladed ripples,
Leaves trees crippled,
While colors blend with such ease,
Above us all clouds will heave.
...

A zelig who doesn't fit in
A loner with too many friends
A wolf who's only been bitten
Blind with prescription lens
...

A shadow within a shadow
So dark I'll try to explain
Effects of a colored bow
Belonging to light and rain
...

A grown man seated crying watching tv
I guess that save the ocean commercial was hard hitting

Women with signs pleading to kill babies
...

Searching for someone to blame,
I've been searching all my life,
Maybe when I find them,
I will end my aching strife.

A New Start

Ripened tears flee from eyes,
Flattened the fears that you despise?
Don't let the fear inflate or rise,
Yelling spirits, helpless cries.

Im at this wall, no one can see,
I won't ask for help, alone I'll be,
Like I'm a castaway lost at sea,
Answers from him, questions from thee.

Its been written on my heart,
Faith will lead this new start,
Riddance to fear, time to depart,
My life is for Christ the only true art.
