Fathimath Farha Poems

Don’t ask me why.
If I walk away, when you call me.

Forgive me.
...

Its a really funny thing.
I smile at the thought of it. Here I am, lying under the blue blue sky,
With the cool breeze caressing my tears.
Its not the first time and I'm sure it won't be my last.
...

To,
The Wind,
The only one who,
Seems to be listening.
...

Did you ever realize,
That when I look at you,
I see nothing else
but you?
...

she asks me why.
why did i do something i'd regret?
why did i let go of something i know i cant live without?
and i just stare back. i don't know.
...

Your words,
They still ring in my head,
Once so very often, they bring me back,
To a time I wish returned.
...

A wandering soul, lost in the
Bleakness,
Of loneliness.
He searches, longing for something,
...

Tell me something.
Where are we going?
This life.
What is it really?
...

The stars shine bright in the beautiful night sky,
She sits and stares ahead waiting,
The trees quivered in the silent wind, shy
Of all the loving touch she needs.
...

He placed his hands gently on her waist,
Her finger rested on his strong broad shoulders.
His eyes, a brilliant blue, they shone, staring deep,
Into her hazel brown eyes.
...

I've only recently become a fan of HarryPotter and i guess this poem was inspired by the Dementors, which i find very cool by the way. And here we go,

And when the sun sets low, the moon rises high,
The white Metoners come out to play.
...

My little box of memories,
Brimming with visions no on else can see.
My little chest of treasure,
Amassed with value that ruptures all measure.
...

I thank god. I thank the power in His might.
For all that I was given and am still receiving.
But most of all, I thank Him for you.
I thank Him for gifting me the most wonderful person.
...

I no longer have a father,
I know he’s not coming back,
Sometimes I wish it didn’t matter,
When I know he’ll never walk through that door again,
...

He jumped, he ran,
After the killer,
With a gun in his clutch,
He bleeds from wounds unknown,
...

His bright blue eyes stared back,
At the one wielding the sword,
Placed on his neck, pressing, so hard,
A little skin gave way, blood seeped out.
...

Like a lone leaf swaying in the breeze,
Like a deer creeping in the jungle.
Like a flower living be ceased,
Like my hopes, left to dangle.
...

Love the wind blowing on your face?
Smile when joy comes your way?
Do you fume when someone tests your limits?
Do you weep for someone you’ve lost?
...

He,
Who created the universe.
He,
Who crafted from nothing.
...

My heart aches,
Painful.
My head spin,
Dizzy.

Fathimath Farha Biography

I started writing poems when i was 13. My English teacher was the one who supported me all the way and has been the inspiration of everything i did after. I compose poems when i feel the words rushing to come out and its just all instantaneous so some of them might need alot of editing or some may just be lame. But i really dont care because i believe i write poems to cleanse my mind of stuff i rather have out.)

*goodbye

Don’t ask me why.
If I walk away, when you call me.

Forgive me.
But I have to leave.

Its not you, it’s not me.
Clichéd huh?
Well, I guess its true.
Its not me, it not you.
Its fate. Its destiny.
And I guess,
Maybe now,
Its time we part.

The good and the bad times,
We’ve actually been through them all.
I wanted this to last, I really did.
But.
I’m wasted.
And I fear,
No.
I don’t want to bring you down with me.
No.
Not with me.

You won’t understand this now.
I can’t let you go.
I want you in my life.
But I have to.
We have to part ways.

I’m going to miss you so bad.
I’m going to keep regretting this for life.
I’m going to cry a million tears.
Those don’t really matter.

What matters is you.
And you might not understand this now.
But really,
I’ve always loved you.
