I fell asleep in my jeans
I woke and I leaned
Upon the dream
Of normalcy

My eye is lined
As red and as pink
As the inner eye
That you find

this smile
with lips dusty
muscles strained
growing rusty

Comfort kills creativity is what they said to me
And the day before

But whatever has creativity gotten me

I loved him and he tolerated me
Horrifyingly
I write in
Searching for the higher me
...

Everyone wants to be better. Those who dont, don't know no better. No better than you or I. My soul is fettered, still I look to the sky.

Call me as I fall, an angel with broken wings. A siren who dont sing. Admire, call me anything. After all, it is only I holding me back. I look to the sky and know what I lack.
