Jenny Williams Poems

Never say you cannot dream
The world is yours to grasp
So go
And dream away
...

She lifted up her hand
And touched a sky painted
Black
The emptiness and heaviness
...

she slipped her hand
into his
I’m sorry for
the way I’ve been
...

Objective
you speak
Obsessive
in thought
...

We lock the pieces of our heart into a box of gold.
A treasury kept safe from the reaches of the world.
We put inside our hopes and dreams, our passions, our desires.
We put them there to keep them safe, to hide them from the light.
...

The illusionist will tell you that
Nothing is as it seems
This life is but a memory of
The dreaming of a dream
...

Why do I feel
You are worlds away?
Your soul is so distant
From mine.
...

Silhouettes of dismal trees
Pierce the misty winter sky
Damp bark and earth speak for themselves
We wonder why does heaven cry?
...

You try to laugh
But all that comes
Is murmurs, tears, stifled sounds
...

This dark abyss
Consumes me
There is no escape
From destiny
...

you draw a line
to show the point
where none can cross
no one can pass
...

lost in the rain
memories of a smile
dancing in the darkness
under fallen stars
...

The light of a star
Travels far
To reach a place
Within my heart
...

I don’t even know how to say
How my heart is breaking
My soul is dripping with oceans of tears
And I’m so cold
...

the sound of your smile
stretches 'cross the
universe
it beams like the sun
...

our two worlds collide
to create a new
full of possibilities
imagined only in
...

he crawled into
her open arms
and laid his head
upon her heart
...

a soft smile in
your eyes
as your fingers
reach for mine
...

the world around me
swirls
moving gently against my skin
a sweet sensation on
...

20.

the wind blows on my face
in a soft and cool embrace
gently lifting my hair
moving, dancing all around

Worth Of A Soul

Never say you cannot dream
The world is yours to grasp
So go
And dream away

Never think it’s too hard
It is that thought
That holds you back
So go and doubt
No more

Never fear to give your heart
In giving it away
The world comes back to you
More beautiful than before
So go and give
Your heart away

Never think you’re not enough
You are worth more than gold
All the treasures of the earth
Are dim next to your soul
