1.

Have you ever imagined our world without war?
Where there is no killing anymore
Where peace is everywhere
And the world becomes truly fair
...

Clouds moving so fast in the morning skies
Yesterday's baby cries become today's old age sighs
What was an everyday habit is now a memory
Of a habit time forgot to emphasize
...

Last thing I remember was the dreamy weather
When we were lying together
When you opened your lips and smiled
Like an innocent child.
...

Waking up so early today,
Realizing it's the beginning of a new day
Ran quickly to the window to see
A happy world in front of me.
...

I cherished my own soul one day
Emerged out of the dull surface of clay
I opened my eyes and saw the dawn
Crossed the many limits that were drawn
...

I left it all
Once and for all
Everything that was there
Did not deserve my care
...

Questions questions on my mind,
Curious questions of every kind.
Who am I in the first place?
Would it help if I looked at my face?
...

It wasn't me
It wasn't me you used to see
I wasn't there
I wasn't in the moments we used to share
...

I need your light to get me through
God I know your love is true
I believe in you first and foremost
Whatever this may have to cost
...

I lost myself in your eyes
Lost my very own existence
Lost the pieces that tied me to my past
...

I walk away
I walk away out of the guilt
I walk away out of the shame
I walk away never again the same.
...

The moment I saw you, was the moment the butterflies in my stomach flew
The moment I saw you, I met the reality of a dream I once drew
The moment I saw you, I saw my reality anew
...

As the plane climbs up the stairs to where a million stars lie,
My head seems to swim through the perfect black sky

Miles ahead,
...

14.

I hope you know.. that to me,

You were the blossoming flowers of spring,
You were the precious diamonds shining on an engagement ring,
...

If the world is an ocean
And, I, just a drop
That moves along with the collective wave motion
Secretly wishing that it would stop
...

The clocks kill me with their relentless ticking
Like a march of hungry soldiers in search of war
Blood and bones instead of the fruits I should be picking
Clock arrows ferociously eating inside my core
...

In life
I discovered
that the more you give thanks,
the more you receive.
...

Mirrors reflect
what we wish to see
Mirrors tell
of other people we're dying to be
...

You look at me,
with eyes full of light
Like a hundred windows to your soul
opening so bright
...

Peace

Have you ever imagined our world without war?
Where there is no killing anymore
Where peace is everywhere
And the world becomes truly fair

Where hearts are filled with love
And there's no one trying to be tough
Why don't we have a rebirth?
And name our new country Earth

Why do we always insist on killing each other?
Rather than trying to love one another
Why don't we remove the dust?
And try to live in a world full of trust

We're used to hearing bad news on the television
Why don't we try to help and refuse division?
Or we'll stay as blind people with no vision
We must make a really fast decision

I really don't understand what we are fighting for
So let's try to stop war
Let's make it a history, as something we did before
So we won't hear about it in the news anymore

So let's put back the gun
And put our hands together as one
And stop war because we've got a goal to chase
The goal is to make this Earth a better place

The key to success is peace
It's the shiniest one of all keys
So now we have a goal to achieve
Do we believe in peace? Yes, we do believe

Mark Fahmy Quotes

If you can't find any force of good around you in your life, then be one.

Do not trust them so much that you start to doubt the gentle whispers of your heart.

Life is not a competition. It's a unique race of your own. Each and every player is on his own. Our paths may meet, but are never going to be the same. The more focused you are on your own race, the more winnings you will claim.

Being a people pleaser always comes with a price, and that price is usually your own pleasure.

You know what's worse than not working hard? Working hard in the wrong direction.

Maybe your greatest potential has been buried by the people you surround yourself with.

The questions you would be asking yourself on your deathbed are the very same questions you should be asking yourself right now.

Your real life starts the moment you start questioning everything you thought was a constant.
