NAYANIKA DEY Poems

The porcelain empyreal
Blended itself
Like a bride
In the palette of
...

It is as ardent as a ruby
And nonpareil as a gold,
Decked with keloids like pearls
It is a pure treasure trove,
...

3.

I am addicted to pain,
For they say,
After every night,
There is a day,
...

You are my heart's home,
You are those reborn rays of light,
Even amidst darkness that roam.
You are the fragrant filled breath,
...

Free them O' God!
For, the wind is spewed with ashes of hatred,
The bilboes that wait to bangle the innocents,
Hauling them down the barbed streets,
...

A story
Of an insignificant mother trailed.

When sledgehammered, pickaxed
...

Of all
That you
Wanted to say
And all that
...

Little butterfly,
Please take me along with you,
Let me kiss the wide welkin.
...

The gestures of lightening,
The sonance of thunder,
The whispers of storm,
And the petrichor after that long dry spell,
...

Fictional vista
Lulls us with fleeting solace,
And euphoria's blue waves.
...

Ruckuses uproars and turmoil
But that was not all
That our ears perceived
Bloodshed carnage and bloodbath
...

13.

I know if I lose myself,
Amidst the huddle,
If my squeals become unheard,
And voice turns mumchance,
...

I sensed myself sinking down
Culminating the stuccoes of existence
Crossing denouements of mortality
Obeying the laws of life's caducity
...

I have a wish
To drink your love
Right before I die.
At least in that way
...

Half of the universe is becoming fragile
With big pupils resting in the sockets of clay cauldrons
Celebrating the birth of death and thereby the death of immortality
Floating through the thinnest medium between space and time
...

At times I wonder,
haven't we ever met before?
The thin ribbon of wind that once passed by,
kissing your chiseled bearded jaw,
...

It was 3AM I suppose, or to be precise
A complete hour of sleeplessness and
I was walking behind or rather following
The footsteps of that decrepit old body.
...

The Best Poem Of NAYANIKA DEY

Nature's Bride

The porcelain empyreal
Blended itself
Like a bride
In the palette of
Amber blush.
It contoured its
Cheek bones of mounts
With liquid onyx,
With ruby mascara
It mascaraed its lashed rays
That curled down
On the waterline of its eyes,
And with the orange veil
It cloaked & hid its
Shy face covering and
Containing the sky.
