027: Wrong Time, Wrong Place (Acrostic) Poem by Colin Johnston

027: Wrong Time, Wrong Place (Acrostic)

Wrong time, wrong place
Remember when it invariably seemed to be you
Others were more fortunate
Never you, never you!
Guess that’s the way you’ll always be…

The person in front, in the queue,
Instinctively bought the winning ticket
Money goes to money, you said
Every time you felt more of a loser…

Why worry about it, I say
Regrets just bring you down
Onwards and upwards, is my motto
Never look back, never frown
Get on with your life and you will find for sure…

Patience
Love
And
Common sense
Endure…
