047. I Need Sheep's Feathers To Make A Bed Poem by Jaden Knight

047. I Need Sheep's Feathers To Make A Bed

I need sheep's feathers to make a bed
I love to eat the air
my nose has gone and fried its self
with green and purple hair

a shot of rum for the ear
a punk tune for the lungs
down come a ladder from an oak tree
like an ape with yellow arms it swung

I made for the ladder
and caught it with half my brain
broke a window with my left eye ball
while the other ran up a drain

I saw this on a park side elephant
when my stomach was stolen by crows
my right foot got arrested for singing
and now I really must go

favorite lines so far: down come a ladder from an oak tree like an ape with yellow arms it swung .............. i can just about picture this. :) the only line i got lost on was this: I saw this on a park side elephant i liked how you continued with a ladder from stanza two to number three, even though for a short while. P, . i believe this has been the most entertaining of your SILLY poems i've read; i think this is the 4th or fifth. i have to read it again! bri :) have a craze as day, my pickled poet.
