061. Human Beings Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

061. Human Beings

We all are human beings.
Same blood flows through our veins.
Same water quenches our thirst.
Same oxygen we breathe in.
Under the same sky we live in.
So why do we find difference in us?

No different sun provides us
With light, heat and energies.
Our minds are charmed with
The same moon's romantic light.
So why do we raise walls
Of discrimination among us?

In joy our hearts dance.
In sorrow our minds pang.
When Love touches our hearts and minds,
We have the same kinds of feelings.
We may belong to different races
But no radical difference is among us.
