.2. Bet On Wet Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Bet On Wet

Rating: 5.0

Raindrops trickle down the pane
To pool upon the sill
I ask for sunshine from the sky
But rain just falls at will

Can I not have a fine day?
I wouldn’t place a bet
Because the way my luck is
I’ll end up getting wet
