This year I'm blessed with
the love of my life
This year I found
a friend to hold dear.
always to encourage, uplift
and motivate
This year is precious
as it gives me sweet memories
that rewinds as a movie
and gives goosebumps.
This is one part of life
In the other part lies the truth
where all the pain and struggle
lie endless
And I wade through hoping
to see the joy at the end.
