2018: Doesn't Last Forever

Rating: 5.0

We started the year together
Our stars aligned thinking we could be forever
Those were just words we said to eachother
So we wouldn't leave one another

But as we grew old
Our love became a story told
A love worth more than gold
Died and became cold

last line sounds like a loving couple both died and became cold, as i guess dead bodies are apt to do. could this possibly be what the line means? ? ? ? or did the " love" die and turn cold? bri :)
