My love you are getting tired
it is is time for you to go to bed
I can act as your pillow
on me you can rest your weary head

May sleep wrap you up in her comfy arms
and keep you safe until the morn
may you rest easy tonight my love
and wake up long after the break of dawn

As you sleep I will watch over you
and keep you safe from harm
may you have a peaceful rest
free of irritating alarms

Yes my dear I will be here when you wake
to show you how much I care
though I may not be able to block all your nightmares
just know that I will always be there
