.3. A Ruined World Poem by David Threadgold

.3. A Ruined World

Born to a world
Being ruined by man
Why did we do it?
Because we just can

We all wanted houses
With electrical light
Gas for our heating
With fumes out of sight

We all wanted cars
Fuel emissions extensive
With great loss of life
Is the price to expensive?
