Cut a big piece of hot apple pie
Topped with vanilla ice cream
Short crusty pastry with sugar on top
The sort you would find in a dream
Pick up your spoon prepare to dive in
The ice-cream has started to melt
A slice of this size will take time to eat
And you may have to slacken your belt
Go to the fridge for a tall glass of milk
To wash down your large tasty treat
But glass, dish and spoon against dangling lace
Cause a trip and all end at your feet
