In the laurel hedge so tall
Hides a child so very small
Waiting for the seekers call
Who covers eyes against the wall?
Coming ready coming not
Child stands frozen to the spot
Seekers running round a lot
Searching trying to find the tot
I can see you out he cries
The child won’t move, that seemed wise
A bluffing seeker always tries
From your hiding place to prise
