I was ready forget you forever
until you appeared back suddenly
dragging memories along with you
ones that were best off buried
You came back seeking friendship
at least that is what you called it
not exactly what I wanted but I went with it
despite believing it was a bad decision
You lied to me just as you always have
honesty for you is just a game
many previously faded scars
have been torn open once more
the healing will take longer this time
I was ready to let you go forever
but none of that matters to me now
am ready to close and seal the door
am willing to forget you forever once more
