#392 Jill Virginia V Poem by Jimmie Arrington

#392 Jill Virginia V

I awake full of joy and glee,
Then I sit and think a while.
My mind continues to see;
For I dreamt of your smile.

Off to work I hurry away,
Regretting every mile.
It's on my mind throughout the day,
I can't forget your smile.

I love its warmth and shine,
Its beautifully unique style,
The way the corners softly incline,
Oh, how I long for your smile.

Although it won't be long
Each second is a trial,
Because I know that I belong
At home beside your smile.
