Lost in his surroundings
With nowhere to hide
I thought that I’d seen him
But then my eyes lied
First on a tree trunk
He moved then turned dark
With long streaks of black
Looking just like the bark
While crossing a leaf
Turning three shades of green
Leaving no trail
To show where he’d been
It would be quite boring
To be just a lizard
But a coloured chameleon
Is the reptile worlds wizard
