Earth showed us her treasures
To let us all see
But she never intended
We take them for free
From deep below oceans
We drilled for her oil
Mined all of her coal
Leaving huge heaps of spoil
Men cut down the forests
That can’t be replaced
Upsetting Earths balance
Left badly defaced
When will we stop?
After greed took a hold
Because theft is a crime
Do we have to be told? ? ? ?
