.5. Walk With Me Poem by David Threadgold

.5. Walk With Me

Rating: 5.0

Come walk with me through bluebell wood
Where rabbits live and play
Wild garlic crushed beneath your feet
Give forth their scent all day

The morning dew gives sparkle
To the flora shining green
Misty webs a sculpture
Showing off where spiders been

A squirrel sorts through leaves and cones
For tit bits he can munch
To find the ripe green acorns
He can take back home for lunch

Sun coming through the tree tops
Clears the early fog
A weasel hunts now nervously
Behind a moss filled log

So look about this wonderland
Switch off that old TV
To see the best from natures store
Just come and walk with me

This is a lovely way of reminding us of God's gift to us. Sadly to many of us choose tv instead of taking a walk outside
