536. I Don't Want To Be Immortal Poem by Jaden Knight

536. I Don't Want To Be Immortal

I don't want to be immortal
existing to the end of time
while it be fun for a while
am pretty sure that it would get boring

I don't want to be immortal
watching everyone I know grow old
eventually being claimed by the reaper
while I myself remain ageless

I don't want to be immortal
becoming a living relic of the past
would be prefer to be in my own age and era
rather than spanning them all

Scythe man hear me and carry out my plea
let me change with and grow with those I care about
claim me properly when I am due to pass
I don't want to be immortal
