6-Feet Poem by angel lockheart

6-Feet

Rating: 5.0

Davey Jones had it well,
He did not have a heart to tell,
To tell him of loves bitter pain,
And how it never gives you any gain,
I should have known you still loved her,
But happiness made everything else a blur,
Like the fact that you were just using me,
Until you found a better fling,
To you I am just a broken toy,
That gives you no emotions to enjoy,
I will never make you miss, love, or care,
I will never be better than a soft teddy bear,
But God please give me the strength,
To keep you at arm’s length,
Because if I fail and keep letting you in,
I’ll end up 6-feet under all over again.
