You don't deserve to have some one like me"
your parting shot before you faded away
accurate enough but for all the wrong reasons
am happy enough that you didn't want to stay

you're like a vampire draining emotions
replacing them with guilt and shame
trying to drain a heart full of love
leaving poisons running through the veins

I kept my word and did what I could
but your messed up mind was not one I could heal
when you spring false tears and arguments
how the hell was I supposed to feel

Now you're gone and I can smile
and I can tell the world the truth
I required someone who was a better person
I didn't deserve to have someone like you
