662. Your Words Are Poison Poem by Jaden Knight

662. Your Words Are Poison

Your words are poison
dripping from your set of fangs
frothing gently from your twisted lips
sliding easily off your forked tongue

Most of them are nothing but lies and deceit
mirroring the one who utters them in many ways
all the while hoping you are not caught out
before they have a chance to take hold

The venom may seep deep into the skin of others
eventually infecting their mind
by the time they realise it may be too late
there are not many antidotes to save them

Crawl back to your pit of darkness snake
and come not near me again
I know the truth of what you really are
I was the first to realise the truth
that your words are poison
