666. Aosoth Poem by Jaden Knight

666. Aosoth

When I first met Aosoth she was lying in a pool of blood
but she assured me that it wasn't her own
her scarlet eyes locked on mine
and I was immediately captivated
it was like love at first fright

Her pale skin hangs slightly from her bones
small pieces of flesh hang from her gaping jaws
her ash white hair is stained with the remains of previous victims
a demonic vision in human form

I seem to be strangely attracted to her
and her harsh voice no longer seems to bother me
think I may be under her spell
as I don't seem to want to leave

I have seen her consume parts of others
although I declined to join her in the feast
using splintered bones to pick her teeth
before tossing them over her left shoulder

This Halloween night may be my last alone
as I think I have fallen in love
I wonder if she would do me the honour
of being my ghoul for the evening

She silences me with her choking claws
before tearing my throat and drinking deeply
draining my life with each mouthful
as she sought to quench her thirst

No one will find where we lay together
as she dined until the sun came up
I will never know if she ever loved me
but she stole my heart that night
